Our studio features a dedicated hot yoga room that we keep warmed to 100 degrees prior to classes. Hot yoga features 26 poses and 2 breathing exercises that are appropriate for students of all levels of experience, including newcomers to yoga. Each class is conducted over 90 minutes in 105 degree heat and 40% humidity. Be ready to sweat and rehydrate! The positions selected for our hot yoga classes are designed to strengthen your body, improve your flexibility, and guide you to personal and spiritual reflection. The heat and humidity warm and lengthen your muscles, help prevent injury, and provide a deeper release in your body. And your perspiration helps you flush toxins from your body and cleanse your system.

Soothe your soul and strengthen your body with our Vinyasa flow yoga classes! Flow yoga focuses on movement and fitness with poses that will provide a healthy challenge to intermediate and advanced yoginis. Our instructors emphasize strength, flexibility, breathing, and alignment as they lead you through a class. The physical element of each pose will tone and shape, while the restorative element of the poses recharges your energy reserves, heals the effects of stress, and brings your nervous system into a more balanced state. Just beginning to explore yoga? Our fundamentals class is designed with beginners and intermediary yoginis in mind, focusing on an introduction to yoga poses, building awareness in postures, and connecting breath to poses. In this class you’ll practice standing asana (poses) – such as Mountain, Warrior, Triangle, and Downward Facing Dog, seated poses, and beginner modifications to inversions and back bends. Our instructors’ emphasis on healthy alignment will help you safely build your strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. And their incorporation of yogic breathing, meditation, and relaxation techniques will deepen your level of self awareness and help you de-stress and relax. |

Pilates is a mat based program consisting of stretching and strength exercises that you perform without weights or other equipment. Our instructors will lead you through a series of moves that target your postural muscles and core muscles, utilizing the weight of your own body to create amazing toning, strengthening, and shaping results. These moves also bring your body back to correct form of movement to create benefits that last a lifetime including better posture, a strong center, and a more streamlined body. In addition to challenging you physically, our pilates classes focus on the principles of control, fluid movement, breathing, concentration, stability, and postural alignment. Strengthening these aspects of your body and focusing on your “powerhouse” or “core muscles” will help you reach elite performance in every form of exercise, sports, and athletics. |
