| Summer is our Group Fitness Manager. She is a graduate from North Carolina State University, and received her degree in Nutrition and Psychology. She is originally from Florida and has over four years experience in the health and fitness industry. Summer has been an athlete all of her life and still enjoys playing sports. Whether it’s being on the water, running, hiking, playing soccer, tennis, or just playing with her dog Hampton, she is always being active. Summer brings her charisma and experience with her to PureBody in hopes of helping everyone who is part of our studio achieve their highest form of success! |
| Trisha is originally from upstate New York. She graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Business Management. She teaches BodyPump and BodyAttack here at Pure Body Fitness. Trisha fell in love with group fitness 4 years ago after taking her first BodyPump class. She loved Les Mills classes so much that she became certified to teach BodyAttack in August of 2008, followed by BodyFlow in 2009 and BodyPump in 2011. She is also YogaFit level 1 certified and has plans to get her Certification in Health Coaching. Trisha has been married to her husband Todd for 12 years, and together they have 3 elementary age girls, Brooke, Brielle, and Keira. They all enjoy traveling and boating! Trisha is very energetic and motivating. She is constantly encouraging her students to keep pushing and takes them one step further than they would normally go! |
| Kelvin has a degree in Innovative Technology from Nielsen Institute of Technology in Charleston, SC. He is our early morning cycling instructor! Kelvin holds certifications in Les Mills RPM, Studio Cycle and is working on his Maddog Cycle certification. He has been teaching cycling classes for the past 2 years. In his spare time, you may find Kelvin enjoying a nice book or coming up with some new creative way to pass the time. He also enjoys cooking, fishing, traveling, and discovering new things. Kelvin is married and has two kids. After having successfully lost over 120 pounds, he is constantly striving to live a healthy lifestyle. His teaching style reflects that. Kelvin loves to have fun in his class while maintaining a high intensity and being educational. |
| Kim is originally from upstate New York. She attended Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds a B.A. in Dance, concentration: Private Studio Teaching. At Pure Body Fitness Kim teaches ZUMBA, an incredibly fun and addictive dance-fitness class that is inspired by Latin rhythms. Kim has been teaching ballet, jazz, tap, modern and contemporary dance for over 8 years. She has been instructing ZUMBA classes since early 2011. In addition, she holds a license in Zumbatomic, which is ZUMBA for children. Kim plans on becoming a Pilate instructor as well as a Les Mills Body Jam and Sh'Bam instructor. In her spare time, Kim loves to read and shop but, most importantly, spend time with her husband and two boys, Cameron and Zachary. |
| Sean is a graduate of Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. He received his degree in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Fitness Management. Sean has been a Health and Physical Education teacher for that past 12 years at both the elementary and high school level. In 2005, he became a Certified and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Condition Association. Sean teaches TRX Cables and is one of our Boot Camp instructors. In his spare time, he enjoys being active with his wife and son. Sean brings his years of personal training and teaching experience to the classes he teaches. He believes in pushing his clients to reach their full potential while making it fun! |
| Pat is our Yoga and Pilates instructor. She has an E-RYT200 (over 1,000 teaching hours) (2006) and a Mat Pilates Certification (2008). She also holds a Children's Yoga Certificate (2005) and a Prenatal Yoga Certificate (2008). Pat is a partner in an RYS200 Yoga School (Yoga Legacy), where she is teaching future Yoga Instructors and those wanting to deepen their own practice. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, swimming, spending time with her husband and children, baking, traveling, and making stained glass. Pat likes to teach to the students in the room, letting everyone reach their potential that day, in that moment, as they challenge themselves. She also likes to give the students the tools to relax and work in the moment, forgetting the outside world as they focus on themselves and what they need in the moment. |
| Nathaly is currently pursuing her B.S. degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Development and a concentration in biology, from Peace College. She is one of our Zumba Instructors and has been certified and teaching for over a year now. Dance is a huge part of Nathaly’s life. She has been a dancer for more than 14 years and enjoys being able to express herself through dance. Her hobbies include pottery, dance, golf, mountain biking, and anything that keeps her active. She also enjoys watching hockey! Nathaly finds that it is important to view fitness as a deep connection of mind and body. With that said, her class is challenging and intense, but easy to follow. She really enjoys sharing part of her Hispanic culture with the entire class! |
| Lori has a B.S. in Interior Design from East Carolina University. She teaches BodyPump and cycling at PureBody Studios. Lori holds multiple certifications, including BodyPump (2006), RPM (2010), Kickboxing (1999), Zumba (2011) and Silver Sneakers (2011). In her spare time, Lori enjoys relaxing on the beach and grilling with her friends and family: her husband, David, her daughter Erin, and son Chase. She also enjoys decorating and re-purposing furniture! Lori prides herself on making sure everyone who takes her classes feels comfortable and has fun! |
| Madeline attended Centenary College in New Jersey, where she received a degree in International Business. She is our Pilates instructor here at Pure Body. She is STOTT Pilates certified, and holds many other certifications as well. Madeline enjoys running, hiking and traveling. She has been to over 65 countries, 5 continents, and is trilingual (fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese). Madeline is a cancer survivor and strives to stay fit and aware of her body at all times. She enjoys teaching at personal level, in order to concentrate on proper form of her students. She believes a workout begins and ends with body awareness and stretching! |
| Heidi graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Mass Communication. She has been teaching group exercise for seven years. Her certifications include Les Mills BodyPump (2005), BodyFlow (2008), and CXWorx (2010), as well as Mat Pilates (2007). Heidi is married, has two beautiful boys and a dog, named Buzz. They recently moved to Apex and love the area. She and her family enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking, four-wheeling, boating and fishing. Heidi thinks of herself as an energetic and motivational instructor! She works hard to help everyone who comes to her classes meet their fitness goals. |
